VA Work Study Student Position
Work with our Veterans Urban Farm as a work study student! This is a very flexible position where you will gain valuable experience in service, agriculture, program management, event planning, outreach, and self-development.
Eligibility:
Must be using and actively enrolled with GI bill benefits
Must be at least 3/4 time in school aka 9+ credit hours in Spring/Fall or 5+ in Summer semester
Must be comfortable working outside and getting dirty

The Youth Education Manager (YEM) is a full-time, year-round position that will lead CCUA’s Youth Education programming. Edible & Native Plants Landscaping VISTA
The Edible & Native Plants Landscaping VISTA will dedicate a year of service as a part of the Foodscaping team to expand the capacity of the department. The person in this position will report to and be supported by the Agriculture Park Foodscaping Manager. The Foodscaping team focuses on the Park’s perennial demonstration gardens, food forest, and stormwater detention basin to showcase different ways in which urban food production can support urban conservation, and vice versa.

Opportunity Gardens Home Garden Mentor
Do you like working with people, building gardens and growing food? CCUA is looking for a Home Garden Mentor to join our Opportunity Gardens team! The "Mentor" will assist the Program Manager with providing high quality garden mentoring to all 170 participating households throughout the year. In addition to mentoring, the Mentor's primary focus will be building and installing gardens. The Mentor will also support the Manager in other aspects of the program including onboarding and communicating with participants, event planning and data reporting.
